Horiens has just joined the Brazil Pact for Business Integrity, an initiative of the Office of the Comptroller General (CGU) that encourages companies to make a public commitment to integrity throughout their business cycle.

“By being part of the Brazil Pact for Business Integrity, we reiterate our commitment to acting ethically, with integrity and transparency, which is also one of the values of Our Culture, and to the systematic search for the highest standards of integrity,” says Marcelo Neves, CEO of Horiens.

Horiens’ Integrity System consists of 10 integrated measures focused on the prevention, detection and remediation of risks and deviations. In addition, the company has a Code of Conduct for members and partners, a Line of Ethics channel and guidance documentation in line with applicable laws and best market practices.

For Luiz Fernando Palaio, Compliance Officer at Horiens, this step reinforces the company’s risk management DNA. “The process of joining the Brazil Pact also makes us look inwards, which is very healthy and only strengthens the work we already do in governance and compliance,” he concludes.
